On October 25-26, 2016, Middle Tennessee Pharmacy Services, along with East Tennessee Pharmacy Services and Guardian Mid-South, attended the Tennessee Community Organizers (TNCO) for their annual fall conference at the Embassy Suites in Murfreesboro, TN.
TNCO is a professional organization for Home & Community Based Service Providers. The members are provided support for Tennesseans with intellectual and developmental related disabilities.
At this year’s conference, there were approximately 300 community organizers at the conference and attendees had the opportunity to attend two full days of educational sessions, while visiting the vendor exhibits during their breaks. MTPS had many discussions with providers about our pharmacy services and how we can help with the challenges that they face each day.
We are thankful for the opportunity to talk to the care givers about making the medication process efficient. Our team at Middle Tennessee Pharmacy Services was very proud to be a part of this conference and partner with the DIDD community. We look forward to participating again next year!
